LEAP – Leaders Emerging in the Accounting Profession

Austin CPA Chapter LEAP (Leaders Emerging in the Accounting Profession) plans networking events, group outings, volunteer activities and social functions geared towards members (CPAs, students and candidates) focused on career growth and committed to enhancing the appeal of the Chapter to the next generation of leaders.

This group is chaired by Katy Avenson who has been a very active TSCPA member for several years and completed the Leadership Development Program two years ago.

LEAP has had several networking events over the past few months and had a group of nearly 20 people out for the Flying Saucer's Trivia Night in December.

They are having a joint networking event with the Austin Young Lawyers Association (AYLA) on Thursday, January 19, 2012, 5:30 to 7:30 pm at The Cedar Door, 201 Brazos Street, Austin, TX 78701.
